Auto-Feeding Enabled! ...and other things!
As you may have noticed if you've checked your ibbit's logs, the auto-feeding script has just been enabled! In order to get it working I had to reset all your food serving levels..which means if you had a bottle of Milk that was at 3/5 servings, it is now up to 5/5, so that's a good thing! I also fixed the serving glitch that allowed for infinite foodstuffs if you transferred the food from your inventory to your ibbits as well. ;D

The auto-feeding script is just as complex as the manual one. If you put something new or something your ibbit doesn't like in its inventory it will be picky and not eat it. However, if you leave it in there long enough the ibbit will eventually get curious enough to try it. This is a good way to introduce your picky ibbits to new foods even when you are not around.

I'm still working on the leveling up system, which is pretty complicated. Not necessarily the coding part, but the logic and planning parts. Taylor and I have had a couple of meetings where we've worked a good portion of it out though. We've also added a couple things to it, so that should be exciting! Other things I'm working on include ibbit happiness, toys/playing with ibbits, and fixing glitches. If you notice any, please let me know! I'm also working on cleaning up your ibbits' Activity Logs and perhaps allowing you guys to receive e-mails with the logs so that you can save them even if they are deleted from the database. Updates may slow down over the next couple of days as Taylor and I finally found a new apartment and will be moving our stuff tomorrow. Also, Taylor got a really awesome job that sounds all professional and stuff. Congratulations, Taylor!

ibbits has been really growing lately! There are always a lot of people online every day so we may have to upgrade our servers in a couple of months (especially as the Spirit Hunt approaches). We will need to raise some money in the near future so you guys can expect some cool merchandise very soon! Taylor and I have also been throwing around a couple of other ideas to make money that you guys will definitely enjoy. Hopefully the site will continue to grow. Thanks for your support, everyone!

P.S.A: Auto Feeding Script Tomorrow!
Public Service Announcement: I'm enabling the Automatic Feeding script tomorrow so any food that you don't want your ibbit to eat please put into your backpack! I've been testing the script on my own ibbits and it works great so far, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up before I went ahead and enabled it for everyone.

More Clothing Options!

There are now some basic clothing options for your ibbits. Nothing too radical, just some re-colors, but it will be nice to be able to have a bit of freedom. Once there are more different types of clothes the ibbits will be able to try on various things that are in their inventory depending on their preferences. I hope to have more variety as far as clothing goes available soon! Since clothes seem to be a bit glitchy at times, let me know if you have any problems getting your ibbits to wear the new items.

Activities for Artistic ibbits!

There are now activities for all the artistic ibbits of Bita Central. If your ibbit happens to like drawing or sculpting then you should take a quick trip down to Craftster's and pick up a carving tool, crayons, and a sketchbook. In order to carve wooden sculptures your ibbit will need a Carving Tool and some Sticks. In order to draw, your ibbit will need a set of Crayons and a Sketchbook. Each of these tools can be used a certain number of times before it is used up or breaks. The Sketchbook has 25 pages, so can be used 25 times. The carving tool has 100 uses, whereas the crayons have 50. I'll be adding small updates to the system throughout the day, but everything should work. Let me know if you run into any issues.

The next updates I'm going to work on include ibbit's automatically eating things from their inventory and the leveling up system (which will be based on kodachichan's awesome ideas) since it seems like some of you guys already have hit that 100 exp. mark. Hopefully I'll be able to get some of these new features up today as well as add more craftable items. Let me know if you have any questions, and enjoy!

Aideen and the Mysterious Parchments

Aideen, the archaeology obsessed resident of The Museum, needs your help! Since the Great Crash, all the museum's collections were corrupted, thus leaving nothing on display. She'd love to create a new exhibit about Bita's pre-history but she doesn't have any research or materials to work with! If you happen to find any Mysterious Parchment during your travels she would love to buy it! If the citizens of Bita Central collectively donate 100 Parchments she will be able to set up the exhibit. Once an exhibit is created ibbits will get more experience from travelling to the Museum. They may even bring home a souvenir or two! Not to mention there will be lots of interesting stuff for you to look at as well. Aideen is buying the Parchments for 500 bits each so it will be worth your while to give them to the museum. All users who give Parchments will receive a special item; and the users who are the top donators will get something extra special.

So yes! To visit the museum, simply click on the compass icon and click "The Museum" link by the main shop links. Let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions, and enjoy!
